I think that they are cocerned about them, but don't really get the way they do things. It sais that they were all fighting about them and talked about them like they were bad poeple. That's what I think about the missionary ladies and the Mrunas.

  3. 4-Compare the reactions of Miss Maudie and the other ladies when Scout says she is wearing her “britches” under her dress.

Miss Maudies reaction to Scouts comment was serious and harsh "she never laughed at me unless i meant to be funny?" The other ladies took it as a joke and laughed at Scout. This is how Miss Maudie's reaction was different then the other ladies reaction.

Tom was killed because he was in jail and he got feed up that he had to stay there so durring the exercise period and started climbing over the fence so they shot him.

In this chapter Miss. Maudie helped Aunt Alexandra become a real, kind lady. Even Scout says "If Aunty can can be a lady at a time like this, so can I." So with Miss. Maudie's help and support Aunt Alexandra sort of became a role model for Scout.
