  1. Is Mayella like her father or different from him? In what ways?
I think that Mayella is like her father because they both talk the same way, they both don't have a very good education and they both get angry very easily
. Mayella is different from her father though because her father drinks alot and Mayella doesn't. Mayella is also different because she is very whimpy and crys alot and her father doesn't.This is how Mayella and her father are alike and different.

  2. 4-How does Mayella react to Atticus's politeness? Is she used to people being polite?

Mayelle reacts to Atticus's politeness by snapping back and being rude, becasue of the questions he was asking her. Mayelle is not used to people being polite because her dad and all af her many children were always working at the junkyard. That is how Mayella reacted to Atticus's politeness.

  3. What might be the reason for Mayellas crying in the court.

Mayella may have been crying because what Atticus said was true. Atticus was asking her whether or not it was Tom or her dad who beat her up and she starts crying. I think that her father got mad at her when he saw her with Tom and hit and beat her. That might be the reason for Mayellas crying in the court room.
